In the Home Stretch
You know, it's interesting. The closer I get to my delivery date, the more I start thinking, "OMG, I'm not ready for this, I'm not ready for this!"
Not that I want to be pregnant a minute longer.
Not that I don't desperately want to meet my baby.
Not that I'm not totally ready for my maternity leave to begin ASAP.
We were just so naive the first time around. Now that we know what to expect, the reality of having a newborn in the house is starting to dawn upon us. Harold and I are really trying to enjoy our uninterrupted hours of sleep now. I'm trying to get in all the errands I can, and my lunch hours are jam-packed with said errands such as getting my hair cut and getting the cars inspected (both need them before the baby comes!!). The good news is that I only require one last trip to Babies 'r Us to exchange some items and to stock up on diapers - just waiting for the coupons I have to kick in this Friday.
It's funny, because sometimes I'll see a future date somewhere and think, "Whoa, I'm going to have the baby by then!" The other day, I was putting groceries away and held out the carton of eggs to Harold and said, "OMG, the baby will be here by the time these eggs expire." He didn't seem as impacted as I did at that moment. Haha.

What brand of diapers do you prefer? I'm always coupon clipping
We're a Pampers family - start with Swaddlers and then move on to Cruisers. (I don't like the Baby Dry.)
I actually swap between Huggies and Pampers but don't like the Baby Dry. It actually broke and all the gel things fell out! I'll keep you in mind when I come across coupons
@thefourthshin - use to love the cruisers, but they leave stuff all over audrey's bottom, when i switched to baby dry, no problems.
